1. Our Approach

Kendo Nexus ("the Platform") is operated by Ai Kendo Club. Kendo Nexus is a tool — you use it to store and manage your own Kendo data. We don't harvest, mine, or monetise your information. This policy explains how the Platform handles your data and what your rights are.

2. Your Data Is Yours

When you use Kendo Nexus, you choose what to store — your training diary, grading history, match records, club rosters, tournament results, and so on. This data belongs to you (or your club). We store it on your behalf so the Platform can function.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not profile you.

3. What We Need to Run the Platform

To provide the service, we require a minimal amount of information:

  • Account credentials: An email address (or Google account) to authenticate you. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture — never your password.
  • Essential cookies: For authentication and session management only. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
  • Server logs: Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) are generated automatically and used solely for security monitoring and debugging.

4. Who Can See Your Data

  • You control your own profile and personal records.
  • Your club administrators can see member data for their club (roster, attendance, grading records) — this is the point of a club management tool.
  • Tournament organisers and participants can see your name and club affiliation when you enter a tournament.
  • No one else. We will only disclose data if compelled by law.

5. Where Your Data Lives

The Platform runs on Firebase (Google Cloud), hosted in the Asia-Southeast region. All connections are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) and access is controlled through Firebase Authentication and role-based permissions.

6. Deleting Your Data

You can delete your account at any time. When you do, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Club administrators can also remove member records from their club. If you want help with data deletion, contact us.

7. Minors

Users under 13 cannot create an account. Users aged 13–17 may use the Platform with parental or guardian consent. Club administrators are responsible for ensuring appropriate consent for minor members in their roster.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the Platform. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
