Tournament Schedule
Follow the ceremonies and matches throughout the day. Please arrive at your designated court 15 minutes prior to your start time.
Hall Set Up
Organizer team lays out the courts, registration desk, scoring tables, and first-aid station.
Players Registration & Shinai Check
Check in at the registration desk, submit your shinai for inspection against the FIK size chart, and warm up on the side courts.
Shinpan Meeting
Officiating team briefing — match protocols, flag signals, hantei rules, and court rotations.
TOURNAMENT'S OPENING
Welcome address by the organizing committee, bowing ceremony, and acknowledgement of visiting shinpan.
TOURNAMENT START
Main competition block begins — four events run in sequence.
- •Suburi Tournament — Ages 4–12, pair-based hantei judging. No bogu required.
- •Ashi Relay Race — 3-person team, must include one under-12 and one kyu-level 12+. Fastest team wins.
- •Oikomi Tournament — Ages 16 and below. Continuous strikes end-to-end, judged on Ki-Ken-Tai-Ichi.
- •Under 12 Individual Shiai — 12 years or younger, 2-minute ippon shobu shiai.
Women's Individual Matches
2-minute ippon shobu shiai. If the match exceeds 2 minutes, it proceeds to encho. Men in bogu rotate as shinpan.
Men's Individual Matches
2-minute ippon shobu shiai. Women in bogu rotate as shinpan for this category.
Mix 3 Members Team Match (Mix Gender)
3-person teams: senpo, chuken, taisho. Must include one girl and one 2-kyu-or-below. Draws resolve via daihyosen.
Tournament CLOSING and Awards Ceremony
Award presentations, group photo, and closing address by the organizing committee.
